An Ada woman who confessed to asking her lover to kill her husband is headed to prison. Forty-nine-year-old Kristie Evans was sentenced yesterday to life in prison with the possibility of parole. Prosecutors say she asked her lover, Kahlil Square, to shoot and kill her husband, Pastor David Evans of Freewill Harmony Church in Ada, in March 2021. Evans testified that she and her children had been abused by her husband for 30 years.
