The Tulsa Public School District is making up for a budget shortfall. District officials plan to use about 17-million-dollars in rainy day funds to help make up for an expected loss of 13-million-dollars in state funding. The district has seen a decline in enrollment over the past five years, and they estimate that trend to continue with 400 fewer students this fall.
