Dozens of protestors gathered at the State Capitol yesterday in support of abortion rights. KFOR reports a crowd of about 70 people rallied to voice their opposition to the Heartbeat Act recently signed by Governor Stitt and the reported Supreme Court plan to overturn Roe v. Wade. The Oklahoma bill mimics a Texas law that allows civil lawsuits against doctors that perform abortions after about six weeks of pregnancy. Another protest in support of abortion rights will be held at the Capitol this Saturday.
