The bill removing a nonbinary option from Oklahoma birth certificates is heading to Governor Stitt's desk. The State House approved Senate Bill 1100 yesterday on a 75-16 vote. The bill limits biological sex designation on birth certificates to male and female, and comes months after Stitt ordered the state to stop issuing nonbinary certificates.
