Oklahoma City is remembering the victims of the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. A Remembrance Ceremony marking the 27th anniversary of the bombing will take place today at 8:45 a.m. at the First Church at Fifth and Robinson. During the ceremony, the names of the 168 people who died in the 1995 explosion will be read aloud.
Several speakers will share their thoughts during the Remembrance Ceremony, including Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt, Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt, and more. This year's keynote speaker is Phillipe Etienne, the Ambassador of France to the United States.
