The Cleveland County Commission is speaking out against a planned turnpike expansion. County commissioners approved a resolution yesterday that opposes the project. The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is proposing adding a new turnpike along Indian Hills Road between Newcastle and Norman as well as extending the Kickapoo Turnpike west of Lake Thunderbird.
