A suspect is dead after firing shots on officers during a chase on the Turner Turnpike in Oklahoma City. After the chase ended, the suspect continued to fire shots and officers returned fire.
Although none of the officers was injured, OHP Trooper Eric Foster said, "one OHP unit, the one that was in pursuit, actually took bullets in his car in through the windshield."
The Turner Turnpike was closed between mile marker 140 and 141 during the incident. Police later announced the suspect had been killed in during the shootout.
