A firefighter was killed in the line of duty yesterday while battling the wildfire in Comanche County. Officials say the firefighter died near Northeast Kings Road and Lake Ellsworth, but no other details are known at this time. The firefighter's identity has not been released. The mandatory evacuation order for residents living near the fire was canceled yesterday afternoon.
