Oklahoma lawmakers are considering creating a digital banking system for the state's medical marijuana industry. Under current law, every medical marijuana-related transaction must involve cash because traditional banks aren't allowed to be involved in the medical marijuana industry. The proposed bill would allow the state to track every single medical marijuana sale, and supporters say it would ensure that the state receives every tax dollar it is owed.
