An Oklahoma City police officer is expected to recover after being shot. The officer responded to a disturbance call near Southeast 21st Street and South Emco Drive about 6:00 last night when a man shot him in the leg. The suspect was shot by the officer and fled from the scene, but he was found several blocks away and later was pronounced dead at a hospital. Authorities say the injured officer was treated at a hospital and later released.
