Oklahoma Deals With Winter Storm

Oklahoma is dealing with winter weather again. A Winter Storm Warning has being posted until 6 p.m. tonight for much of the eastern half of the state, including the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metro areas. Up to one inch of sleet and one-half inch of ice is expected to impact travel in the region. A Wind Chill Advisory is also underway with very cold wind chills. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the same time frame for areas very near the Kansas border. Sleet, snow and freezing rain accumulations will likely cause dangerous travel conditions and possible power outages.
