Oklahoma Attorney General John O'Connor is discussing Governor Kevin Stitt's options regarding death row inmate Julius Jones. O'Connor says he will support any decision Stitt makes regarding Jones, but O'Connor added that he believes Jones is guilty of the 1999 murder of Edmond businessman Paul Howell. O'Connor says he sees Jones' execution as a matter of public safety and the rule of law. The Pardon and Parole Board has recommended clemency for Jones, who is scheduled to be executed tomorrow.
