The Oklahoma Supreme Court is overturning a big financial judgment against drugmaker Johnson & Johnson. The $465 million ruling was made by a judge in Cleveland County two years ago. The Court says the judge was wrong to find that J&J violated the state's public nuisance statute through its marketing and distribution of opioids. The Supreme Court said however grave the problem of opioid addiction is in Oklahoma, public nuisance law does not provide a remedy for this harm.
