A Shawnee high school official who was arrested last month is being indicted for sex crimes. Ron Arthur is charged with second-degree rape, forcible sodomy, and soliciting sexual contact with a minor for allegedly coercing multiple students into sex acts. The Oklahoman reports Arthur was an assistant athletic director at Shawnee Public Schools but is now resigning after being suspended in early August. Authorities say the allegations against Arthur date back to 2007.
