Heat Advisory Issued For Eastern Oklahoma

Extreme summer temperatures are expected to impact eastern Oklahoma. A Heat Advisory has been issued for eastern Oklahoma including the Oklahoma City and Tulsa areas starting at noon and lasting until this evening. Heat index values up to 105 degrees are expected, and people are being urged to stay hydrated, remain in air conditioning and check on neighbors and relatives.
