An Oklahoma lawmaker is calling for the state's age for constitutional, or permitless, carry to be lowered. KOCO reports that State Senator Nathan Dahm has filed a bill lowering the minimum age for constitutional carry of firearms to 18. Dahm says people should not have to wait until they are 21 to exercise their right to self-defense. The proposed bill has been filed for the 2022 Oklahoma legislative session.
