A Cleveland County jury convicted a man Friday of killing three Moore High School runners in a hit-and-run crash last year. Max Townsend was found guilty on three counts of second-degree murder and seven other charges after officials say he drove his vehicle into a group of students running near the school in February 2020. The crash killed Kolby Crum, Rachel Freeman, and Yuridia Martinez, and injured four others. Townsend is facing up to life in prison.
