Oklahoma Sooners Win 5th Softball National Championship

The Oklahoma Sooners are your softball national champions. O-U defeated Florida State five-to-one yesterday to win the fifth title in program history. Pitcher Giselle Juarez threw a complete game for the second day in a row, and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the College World Series. It was a historic year for the Sooners, setting single-season NCAA records in plenty of categories, including batting average, home runs and runs scored.
