The Oklahoma City Council is giving its approval to a new fiscal budget. The 1.65 billion dollar city budget includes a record 240 million dollars for police. Officials say the budget allocates one million dollars for community policing, human rights and homelessness, and 300 thousand dollars for a mental health response program in the Oklahoma City Police Department.
