A former Oklahoma County Detention Center employee is under investigation. Detention Center officials say they believe the former employee is responsible for an attack on two inmates that took place in December 2020. Administrators say the altercation took place because the officer allegedly allowed rival gang members out of their cells at the same time. The Detention Center wants the former officer to be charged with willful neglect of duty and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
