After ten hours, a hostage situation in Chickasha ended peacefully yesterday. Authorities were called to a home near South 19th and West Texas for a reported domestic disturbance. It turned into a standoff when 71-year-old Terry Gunnoe allegedly took his wife captive. Police do not know if Gunnoe had any weapons in the house, but said he may have mental health issues. Gunnoe is facing a kidnapping charge, while his wife is expected to be okay.
