An Oklahoma City police officer is being charged with manslaughter for a fatal shooting that happened in December. Officials say Sergeant Clifford Holman was one of two officers that shot and killed 60-year-old Bennie Edwards, a homeless man allegedly holding a knife. Police were called to a store on West Hefner Road for a reported disturbance, where Edwards allegedly approached the officers and did not follow orders to drop the weapon. The other officer involved in the shooting is not facing charges.
