An Oklahoma lawmaker is calling for mandatory facemask wearing across the state. Democratic State Senator Jason Lowe of Oklahoma City filed the bill this week. Lowe says facemask wearing is a health-related issue and the mandate is necessary in keeping residents safe. The 'COVID-19 Save Lives Response Act' would require masks until COVID-19 hospitalizations are at or below 300 for 30 consecutive days, and failure to comply would result in a one-thousand-dollar fine.
