Three people are under arrest after allegedly locking a five-year-old girl in a dog cage. Sixty-three-year-old Charles DeRonda and 59-year-old Mary DeRonda, who are family members of the child, were booked yesterday on two counts of child neglect. A family friend, 46-year-old Jeremy Cook, is charged with child abuse. Authorities say the girl was kept in a dog cage for long periods of time and was not given any food or water.
