The University of Oklahoma is working with the city of Oklahoma City to test wastewater for COVID-19. Researchers from the university have been testing sewage for several months. The program, which is designed to discover COVID-19 outbreaks in Oklahoma City and allocate the needed resources in response, is being funded by 535,000 dollars in CARES Act money.
