After months of waiting, the COVID-19 vaccine could start being shipped to Oklahoma in a matter of weeks. State Health Commissioner Colonel Lance Frye says the Pfizer vaccine could be approved for use as early as December Eleventh, and 33 thousand doses could arrive in Oklahoma two days later. Health officials say ten thousand doses of the Moderna vaccine could also be available in Oklahoma by December 30th. Frye warned that the vaccine won't be an "immediate" solution, noting that it will not available to the general public for several more months.
