The District Attorney of Craig County says the fatal shooting of an armed man by an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper earlier in the year was justified. Matthew Ballard announced over the weekend that Trooper Caleb Cole "acted professionally" when he shot and killed 34-year-old Robert Harris on June 25th. Harris was the passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over on the Will Rogers Turnpike and was shot after he allegedly pulled a hand gun on the trooper. Investigators say Harris was a previously convicted felon and had a large amount of cocaine in his pocket at the time of the shooting.
