The Stillwater City Council voted unanimously yesterday to mandate face coverings while in public. The requirement comes after Governor Kevin Stitt said earlier in the day that he would not pass a statewide order but would not oppose local governments who decide to do so. The Oklahoma State Department of Health says everyone should wear a cloth face covering when they are in public. The mandate goes into effect on Saturday.
