A Tecumseh police officer is accused of helping his wife break into a home. Tecumseh Police say surveillance video shows the alleged break-in. The person who lives in the house was not home at the time of the incident, and the officer allegedly told fellow officers at the scene that his wife had permission to break into the home to rescue a cat. The officer faces charges of conspiracy and abuse of police authority, and his wife is charged with burglary, conspiracy and blackmail.
