OKC Police Chief To Retire

Oklahoma City Police Chief Bill Citty has announced he will retire effective May 2. He has served as police chief since 2003. He became an Oklahoma City police officer in 1977. He told reporters Thursday he actually planned to retire in January 2020 but moved it up a few months. He said he was perfectly comfortable with his decision.
