Recruiting Expo

If you want to apply to be an Oklahoma City Police Officer or Firefighter, you'll have a chance this weekend to learn more firsthand.

Fire Major Tink Collins said the Oklahoma City Fire and Police Departments are holding a recruiting expo.

"It's going to be a question and answer. People who have questions about our hiring process. What to do, how to get prepared. The physical aspects of it," Collins told KTOK.

Collins says the Recruiting Expo will be from nine a-m to five p-m on Saturday, at the Fire-Police Training Facility, 800 north Portland Avenue.

Applicants must between the ages of 18 to 44, and hold a valid driver license.

Applicants can call (405) 297-1116 for more information.
