A Tulsa man is accused of taking another man's prosthetic leg as part of a robbery.
Local law enforcement responded to a report about alleged armed robbery near 3600 North Peoria Avenue on Tuesday, September 14, at 4:30 p.m, according to the Tulsa Police Department's Facebook page.
The victim told Tulsa cops that a man carrying a large metal spike took his backpack and then his prosthetic leg. The man then asked the victim how much the items in his bag were worth and started waving the spike around.
The man with the spike was identified as Kevion Hooks.
Hooks was wearing the victim's prosthetic leg strapped to his head which police found him.
Police arrested Hooks, who is accused of armed robbery.
The leg was returned to its owner.
