Ryan Reynolds 'Proposes' To A Male Interviewer At The 'Deadpool 2' Premiere

Ryan Reynolds knows all about the love that comes from Deadpool fans, particularly when he was interviewing with IGN at the Deadpool 2 premiere on Monday night (May 14) and the reporter revealed that his fandom for the superhero harked back to his childhood.

"I've been a Deadpool fan since I was a little kid," IGN reporter Max Scoville said to the star on the red carpet. “Here's my fifth grade English book report. Can you take a look at that? I got a B- on that." As any superfan would have loved, Reynolds was overwhelmed and overjoyed looking at the report, telling Scoville, "This is amazing. This is amazing. Max, you did a book report on Deadpool in the fifth grade. Will you marry me?"

"I mean, I think I'm actually spoken for," he replied, to which his female co-host said, "Yeah, he just got engaged." Still, Reynolds knew the solution to the issue, replying, "Great. Well, we'll move to a state that allows it." What happens to be the best part of the entire situation arrived when Scotville's female co-host chimed in once again, saying, "I'm totally down for that."

After the video went viral on the blogosphere, Scotville took to Twitter to sound off on the clip. "Dear @VancityReynolds, sorry I rejected the proposal. I should've given a definite maybe or said we should be just friends. At least I didn't keep you waiting or say anything crude, but ANYTHING would've been better than 'I'm taken.'...Now, will you please grade my book report?"

If you want more of Reynolds or Deadpool, who the actor recently described as "somewhat fluid," you can catch Deadpool 2, which is currently in theaters across the country.
