AG Says Clarity Needed In Sex Trafficking Law

A coalition of 49 attorneys general including Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter is urging Congress to amend a sex trafficking law to reaffirm that all law enforcement agencies have the authority to fight sex trafficking, including online through websites. Hunter says courts need clarity and that in some cases the Communications Decency Act has been interpreted to not allow state prosecution. Hunter says sex trafficking is a horrific crime and that anything we can do to stop this heinous act needs to be a priority.
