The Oklahoma Corporation Commission says it is investigating the latest earthquake activity in the Edmond area. There are no Arbuckle disposals wells in the area, but the Commission says the earthquakes have been clustered together in an area where there is a known fault. The Commission says an inspector has checked Arbuckle wells in a 10 mile radius of the earthquake activity and that data will be reviewed.
The director of the Oklahoma Sierra Club chapter says the state of Oklahoma isn't doing enough to stop the recent earthquakes. Johnson Bridgewater tells KTOK News his group and others plan to rally at 10 am Friday at the Oklahoma Corporation Commission headquarters at 2101 N. Lincoln in Oklahoma City.
