Meek Mill Was The Real Winner Of Super Bowl LII, According To Twitter

On Sunday (Feb. 4), the Philadelphia Eagles became first-time champions at Super Bowl LII. However, many would argue that it was Meek Mill who won the night.

The incarcerated rapper is continuing to serve his controversial 2-4 year prison sentence after a judge ruled that he violated his probation, while fans have been protesting this ruling ever since it was first declared. Thankfully, the City of Brotherly Love has been riding for its hometown artist. The new Super Bowl champs have shown the rapper love, too.

It all started when the Eagles revealed that the team's Super Bowl intro song would be Meek's “Dreams and Nightmares (Intro).” The Eagles' defensive end Brandon Graham said, "If you're going to go with a Philly song, that's the one you're going with." Plus, the Eagles' rookie defensive end Derek Barnett added: "Meek, you know, he's locked up right now. So we have to hold the city down for him."

And that's exactly what the team did when they hit that Super Bowl field! Peep that below.

When the Eagles eventually won the game by defeating the New England Patriots 41-33, people couldn't help but have the Philly rapper heavy on their minds, once again. The desire for his prison release only increased.
