This is an excellent article by Andrew Solomon of the New Yorker. I seldom read the New Yorker as I find it as pretentious and overly intellectual. This is different.
In his conversation with Adam Lanza's father Peter, guns, gun laws, and gun control are NEVER blamed. What we do see is a horribly misdiagnosed boy with a hyper-protective mother who, rest her soul, as her son descended further and further into darkness descended further and further into denial.
