Shortey Indicted On Federal Charges

Former State Senator Ralph Shortey of Oklahoma City has been indicted on federal charges including child pornography and child sex trafficking. The charges were announced Wednesday by Oklahoma City U.S. Attorney Mark Yancey. A federal grand jury on Tuesday returned a four-count indictment against Shortey, who was arrested in March after police found him in a hotel room in Moore with a 17-year-old boy. He was charged in district court and later resigned.
